The person behind the work
About Kudzai

I'm a strategy and operations consultant, founder, and speaker based in Cape Town, working across the continent. My career started hands-on, running cafe operations at the University of Namibia, where the work was immediate and the feedback loop was short.
From there I moved into African business media and operations. I was Manager of Operations at FemInStyle Africa, a platform built to empower women through content and community, then Head of Operations and Marketing at Optimum African Experience, where I led operational efficiency and marketing strategy in travel and hospitality. Alongside that work I built AfroQueen Business Magazine as Publisher and Managing Editor, and produced and hosted Ijere Africa on Africa Business Radio, putting African business stories in front of the businesswomen who needed to hear them.
Today I support a global team at a global peer leadership organization, having grown into a senior network engagement role from an earlier position on the same team, and I run engagement strategy across markets. Alongside that, I co-founded Helix Africa Strategy, pairing strategy and operations advisory with data governance work for revenue-generating African businesses, and founded The Scale Table.
